Internal Continuous Flow Gas Water Heater
The 28 l/m Internal unit is 6-star energy rated at 84% thermal efficiency. The Paloma 28 is able to deliver temperatures of up to 82⁰C and offers a host of other features and benefits (per below). The internal unit must be installed indoors with correct Paloma balanced-flue components, as specified by a registered gas installer.
Suitable for use in medium to large homes, a Paloma 28L can provide hot water for 2-3 bathrooms and 1-2 kitchens (dependent on installation)
Paloma Balanced Flue System
Only an OEM Paloma coaxial/balanced flue system can be used with all Paloma 28l/min internal models. This flue system is made up of 2 pipes, a stainless steel internal pipe for venting of exhaust products and a galvanised steel outer pipe for drawing in fresh air for the combustion process. Your registered gas installer will specify the correct flue system and install it according to manufacturer guidelines.

Commercial Gas Water Heater
The 28 l/m commercial unit is ideal for larger commercial applications or where higher temperatures are required. Units can be electronically manifolded to increase capacity from 1 to 6 units by either manifolding 2 units with a Paloma EZ-Link for up to 56 l/min of hot water delivery, or up to 6 units using the MIC-6 system. The MIC-6 system is able to supply a large capacity of hot water while maintaining high energy efficiency in applications such as gyms, restaurants, breweries, hotels, hostels, hospitals, factories, ablution blocks, camps, etc. In these instances, the propriety ranking of each unit is rotated according to specific conditions, which allows for the equalisation of load amongst units. Until the load reaches 80% the master unit has priority and operates on its own, then the 2nd priority unit begins operating after that, the load will equalise among all the operating units. This system spreads the workload across units, creating redundancy and ensuring master-slave use.
All Paloma Units can be connected to temperature controllers however, in commercial applications where higher temperatures are required, this may not be applicable. Always refer to your qualified gas installer or the manual.
All Paloma appliances are available for use with either LPG or Natural Gas.
